Calogero di Miceli, son of the late Maestro Bernardo di Miceli and the living Giacoma Bartolotta, marries Salvatrice Carrabba,[1] daughter of the late Domenico Carrabba and Maria Grizzaffi, on 20 June 1847.
Calogero and Salvatrice have at least five children.
Maria is named after her maternal grandmother. I estimate she is born around 1855, twenty years before she marries.
Maria marries Giovanni Bartolotta, a widower, on 20 September 1875. This record styles her father a maestro.[3]
Antonina marries Bernardo di Puma on 22 October 1876.[4]
Domenico marries Nunzia Carmela Triolo on 29 October 1881.[5]
Domenico is named among membership in the Fratuzzi, the Mafia in Corleone, around 1900.[6]
Calogero, misuratore (a "measurer"---he may run the scales for a tax station), dies at the age of 70 in his house at via Santo Rocco, 53. He is survived by his wife, Salvatrice. His parents have predeceased him.[7]
